A typographic expression of extreme contrasts and Hemingway’s infamous writing style known as ‘The Ice-Berg Theory’. Each cover design reveals a balance of submission and assertion, coupled with undisclosed identities that together aim to create intrigue and provoke thought.
Hemingway’s ‘Ice-Berg Theory’ states that a well-written book should be able to exclude details, yet still be completely understood. In order to visually communicate this idea, positive and negative space has been utilised, forcing the audience to look beyond the detail and instead appreciate the bigger picture.
